About this Session

Self-Care practices are essential for counselors to incorporate into their everyday life. The ACA Code of Ethics 2014 sets forth ethical responsibilities and guidance for counselors to engage in self-care activities. Self-Care has become a focus for counselors since the pandemic. Counselors have experienced higher rates of stress as critical care persons. Participants will learn how different self-care practices that can be used to promote emotional, physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.
